Helpful ‘Tips and Tricks’
¨ For multiline text, add a ‘\P’ in the text string to move to the next line.
¨ Cannot pick text in tables. See Known Issues for resolution.
¨ Table text can’t be picked when font is a TrueType font such as Arial. This is a known AutoCAD limitation.
There are three solutions:
· Use the Clip2Mtext option and overwrite the table cell which will have the same outcome as modifying an existing cell annotation;
· Temporarily change the visual style to ‘Realistic’;
· Temporarily change the text style to an AutoCAD font (*.shx) such as RomanC. Then simply change the font back afterwards.
¨ AutoCAD 2012, 2013 and verticals (AA, Map 3D, Mechanical, etc.)
